About Green Lawn LLC

Summer comes late to the lake shore at Garrison and then comes all at once — one week the grass is brown thatch, the next it is climbing. Green Lawn LLC keeps up with that green rush, mowing in long even passes, trimming close around mailbox posts and birch clumps, edging the walk until it reads like a drawn line. Mornings here start under fog that lifts off the bay by nine and leaves everything beaded and shining. By the time the fog is gone the first yards of the day are cut and blown clear, clippings off the sidewalk, nothing left but stripes. Autumn brings the leaf work, and then the season folds up quietly, the way it does above the old stone concourse when the last boats go.
