Dave's Excavating

About Dave's Excavating

When a storm comes across the open fields around Foreston, it erases the ordinary lines of the place, with drive, yard and roadside all buried under one long drift. Dave's Excavating answers with the machinery and sure touch of an excavating outfit, moving snow off driveways and yards until the shape of home comes back. There is something deeply gratifying about watching a buried yard reappear: the drive pushed wide, the banks stacked where they won't blow back in. Out here the plowed lane is the difference between stuck and going. Dave's cuts it broad and true, and Foreston gets on with the morning.
