About Haakon

On the coldest January nights the sky over Fergus Falls goes hard and brilliant, and the snow squeaks underfoot like it's arguing. That is Haakon's weather. This snow removal outfit works the bitter hours after the north wind has had its say — driveways drifted shut, sidewalks vanished, thermometers reading numbers that make the whole county stay indoors. The passes are straight, the corners are opened, and the banks are pushed back far enough to leave room for the next storm. Winter this far up doesn't negotiate, so Haakon doesn't either.
