About TENNYSON COMPANIES

Some May mornings the fog sits on St. Albans Bay until nine, and Excelsior comes out of it a block at a time. TENNYSON COMPANIES works those hours — mowing before the day heats up, trimming along stone walls and hedges, cutting a firm edge where sidewalk meets lawn. The village's lots are old and particular, with mature beds that want mulch, weeding and shaping rather than reinvention. A spring cleanup opens everything up; fall cleanup and leaf removal close it again, and by five the lake has taken back the light. In between is a summer of small, steady passes that add up to a yard nobody has to apologize for.
