About StumpSniper.com

Excelsior grew up under big trees, and the lots that tip toward Excelsior Bay still carry the oaks and maples that shaded the first cottages down by the water. StumpSniper.com works in their company: stump grinding and the cleanup after, then the ordinary care that keeps a small lakeside lot handsome — mowing, trimming, edging, leaf removal when Water Street fills with color. Yards here are short and steep and full of corners, so the work happens in close quarters, by hand more often than not. Grass under an old canopy wants overseeding and patient feeding rather than brute force. Get that right and a shady yard looks intentional instead of tired.
