Ripley's Inc

About Ripley's Inc

Out around Erhard, the frozen faces of Grandrud and Knobel lakes catch the last pink light of a January afternoon just before the wind picks up across the fields. Ripley's Inc handles snow removal in town, heading out when a storm builds at dusk and working on under headlights until the way is clear. The reward shows up at sunrise: blue shadows along the banks, solid ground underfoot, and nothing standing between a household and the road. In a town of little more than a hundred people, keeping the way open feels like plain neighborliness.
