The Lawn Ranger

About The Lawn Ranger

Long before its subdivisions, Eden Prairie took its name from open grassland rolling toward the bluffs of the Minnesota River, and restored prairie in some of the city's parks still waves with goldenrod and big bluestem each August. The Lawn Ranger keeps a tamer kind of grass in line, offering lawn care for yards across town. Late summer is the test, with heat and thunderstorms trading places and lawns growing in fits and starts. Riding out to meet it each week, this outfit leaves yards looking sharp by suppertime. It is a fitting job in a city whose very name is a grassland, one lawn at a time on the old prairie.
