Budget Cut Lawns

About Budget Cut Lawns

This far north the July light hangs on until ten, and there is still work left in it. Budget Cut Lawns mows through those long evenings in Eckles Township — cutting, trimming along pine and post, edging drives, clearing off whatever the season has dropped on the grass. Sandy soil under jack pine grows a thin, fine turf that looks its best kept short and even. A yard hemmed in by dark timber shows its borders more than most, so the line where the grass stops is the thing to get exactly right. When it is right, the whole clearing looks like somebody meant it.
