About Kaufman Enterprises

February wind comes hard across the high ground along Pilot Knob Road, carving yesterday's snowfall into drifts that reappear an hour after you clear them. Kaufman Enterprises fights that fight for a living. Their winter is snow removal in its stubborn, repeat-visit reality: plow the drive, cut back the drift line, open the walk, come back when the wind undoes it, and keep coming back until the storm truly quits. They stack snow where March won't turn it into a flooded garage apron. It is a season-long contest with weather that does not negotiate — and there is a plain, hard-won pride in ending the winter having never lost a driveway to it.
