Green Stallion Yard Service

About Green Stallion Yard Service

April in Superior is mud and meltwater — the red Nemadji clay turns to putty, the last gray banks shrink back off the curbs, and every lawn comes out from under winter flattened and full of sand. Green Stallion starts right there: raking out the season, cleaning the beds and boulevards, then that first cut of May that makes a yard look like itself again. Through summer it's mowing, trimming and yard care on rotation; when the cold end of the year swings back around, it's plowing and clearing snow off those same drives. Watching a beat-up spring lawn come all the way back green by the middle of June is one of the better things about working outdoors here. The horse in the name has two gaits, and this town needs both of them.
