About Doctor Plow

Snow in Duluth is not an event; it is a condition, and Doctor Plow makes house calls for it. When a storm sets in after dark, the rounds begin — up Woodland Avenue and back down the hill, driveway by driveway, each one checked and cleared like a patient seen through the night. The remedy is simple and complete: pavement where the snow was, a clean path from the garage to the road. Some mornings the city wakes to a foot of fresh powder and never has to shovel a stroke of it. That is the whole practice, and in this town, it never lacks for patients.
