Cutting Edge

About Cutting Edge

A cleared driveway has a geometry to it — the straight cut, the square corner, snow walls standing plumb on either side. Cutting Edge plows for that geometry on the cold blue mornings when Kenwood's streets squeak underfoot and the air off the lake feels honed. Duluth winters are long enough to reward doing the thing properly: scrape to the pavement, carry the line to the street, leave nothing for boots or tires to fight. By the time the sun clears the hill, the work reads like drafting on a white page. Then it snows again, and the drawing starts over.
