Avalanche Snow Removal

About Avalanche Snow Removal

Some storms slide in off Lake Superior and only dust the town. Others stack against the garage doors on the East End and don't quit until the city plows have made a second pass, leaving that hard gray windrow across the end of every driveway. Avalanche exists for the second kind — plowing, driveway and sidewalk clearing, parking lot passes and ice control after the big ones, in Superior and the towns around it. The good part is the after: pavement showing dark again, banks squared off, the mailbox reachable, a whole household able to get to work. Snow is simply the weather here; getting out from under it is the job.
