About Alliance Masonry Inc.

Duluth climbs straight up from Lake Superior, street after steep street, and winter tests every one of those grades. Alliance Masonry Inc., a masonry business, offers snow removal in a city where storms can sweep in off the big lake fast and bury stone steps, retaining walls and sloped drives. On the coldest mornings sea smoke rises from the open water below while the clearing goes on under hillside streetlights. Shoveling back to bare stone and keeping a steep driveway passable is hillside craft, and a mason knows the value of steps left clear to climb. When the sun finally comes up over the lake and the walk below is open, it feels like a small win against Superior.
