Shoreham Tree Service

About Shoreham Tree Service

Come October the tamaracks out toward Tamarac turn a soft rust gold, and the lake places around Shoreham and Lake Sallie start closing up one by one. Shoreham Tree Service uses that window for shoreline work: pruning the oaks that reach out over the water, trimming crowns back off cabin roofs, removing anything that would come down on a place standing empty until May. Ice and heavy lake snow do their damage in the dark, and the cleanup afterward runs from the county road all the way down to the boathouse. Every cut on a shore lot is a negotiation between shade and view, and finding that balance is most of the craft. When a property is opened back up and cleared out for the season, it looks ready to be left alone until spring.
