About Strese Tree Service LLC

Down at Point Douglas, where the St. Croix hands itself over to the Mississippi, the cottonwoods carry a high-water line on their trunks from every spring they have seen. Strese Tree Service LLC works that river-road end of Denmark Township, taking out the flood-tired silver maples, trimming crowns back off cabins and garages, and pruning young trees so they grow into a shape worth keeping. Wind runs down the water in a straight line here, and once it passes the cleanup begins at the drive and works out toward the bank. Removal near the river is careful business: soft ground, tight lots, and plenty of things nobody wants a limb to touch. Afterward the light comes off the confluence and lands in a yard that is finally open to it.
