Gambit Hardscapes

About Gambit Hardscapes

In chess a gambit is an opening move made with the whole game in mind, and in Dalbo the opening move of the warm season comes when the snow pulls back from the farm fields and the oaks along the county roads begin to leaf out. Gambit Hardscapes makes that first move on lawns — cutting the new grass, trimming close along patios, retaining walls and walkways, and cleaning up so stone and turf each set the other off. A hardscaping business knows a lawn looks sharpest where it meets a firm edge. Out at this quiet country crossroads north of the Twin Cities, a yard drawn with clean lines stands out against the open land. It's a strong opening, played one yard at a time.
