About Duypree' Enterprises LLC

Snow reaches Crystal first as a change in the wind over the open ground by the airport, and by midnight the streetlights along Bass Lake Road are full of it. Duypree' Enterprises LLC is out in that hour, when the city plows have gone through once and every driveway in the neighborhood has been sealed shut by the berm they left behind. The work is plowing, shoveling the walks, and putting salt or sand where the shade holds ice long after noon. By the time kitchen lights start coming on, the drive is open end to end and the sidewalk is a dark ribbon between white banks. Winter here does not negotiate, so the answer is to be up ahead of it and finished before the alarm clocks ring.
