About NCLC

By noon in high summer an NCLC mower has already crossed half of Crosslake, trailered along County Road 66 from one yard to the next. The town spreads out along the water, and lawn care here means covering ground — seasonal places, year-round homes, wide lakeside yards that drink up the long daylight. NCLC cuts them clean and moves on, leaving stripes you can read from the road. There is a rhythm to it, the same route in the same weeks, the grass always growing back and the crew always coming around again. In a short northern summer, that steadiness is what keeps a yard looking like July all the way into September.
