Decent Land and Tree Service

About Decent Land and Tree Service

Crosby grew up on the Cuyuna Iron Range, and the red earth that once came out of its mines still shows along the trails that wind past pit lakes gone clear, cold and deep. Decent Land and Tree Service works the gentler side of that ground: the lawns and yards of a town that turned an ore-mining past into a green, lake-bright present. In late spring, with Serpent Lake glittering at the north edge of town, the work is mowing, trimming and tidying until each yard looks settled and cared for. There's a particular pleasure in a smooth green lawn in a town whose ground once fed the steel mills. Here, the old iron country wears its grass well.
