Green Line Lawn

About Green Line Lawn

There is an hour in late afternoon when the light comes low across Cottage Grove's river terraces and every mowed lawn shows its stripes. Green Line Lawn works for that hour. Mowing, trimming, edging — done so the lines run true and the yard reads clean from the sidewalk to the back fence. The Mississippi slides past below, wide and unhurried, while up in the neighborhoods the summer routine goes on: cut, clip, blow the walk, load the trailer. When the light hits right, a well-kept yard looks almost drawn, and that is the whole idea.
