About AB Outdoor Services

The first real storm of November usually finds Corcoran at dusk, snow slanting sideways across County Road 116 while the last daylight goes gray over the stubble fields. That is when AB Outdoor Services goes to work — snow removal timed to the storm itself, plowing with it rather than waiting it out. Out here the driveways run long, some of them gravel, most of them exposed, and a northwest wind can undo an afternoon's clearing by suppertime. So the job is done in passes: open the lane, square the ends, push the banks back far enough that December has somewhere to go. There is a quiet satisfaction in the last pass of the night, headlights sweeping a clean drive while the snow keeps falling on the fields beyond, already beaten to the punch.
