About Trav's Lawn Care

Cokato sits with water on one side and open country on the other, and at dusk in July the whole town smells like cut grass and lake. Trav's Lawn Care runs a route through that evening — mowing, string trimming, edges held clean along walks and drives, fertilizer and weed control through the growing months, leaves hauled off when the maples finally let go. In winter the route stays and only the work changes: plowing, clearing the walk and the steps, and putting grit down on the slick spots. There is something honest about a single truck coming down the same streets all year, in the same order, whether the ground is green or white. You end up knowing every driveway by feel.
