You can hear the year turn in Cohasset. From June to September it is a mower's steady hum crossing a yard carved out of jack pine and birch; by December it is the scrape of a blade on a driveway apron, sharp in air so cold it carries a mile. KH Mow and Snow lives on both sides of that sound — weekly mowing, string trimming, edges held true, cleanups when the leaves come down all at once — and then plowing, hand-clearing walks, and sand or salt for the icy step. The Chippewa woods begin just north of town and the weather that comes off them is not shy about it. Doing both halves of the year means nothing has to be explained twice: the yard that looked square in August is the drive that gets opened first in January.
