Westy's Best Home Improvement

About Westy's Best Home Improvement

Clayton is a small Minnesota place where summer arrives all at once — lilacs one week, a lawn that needs mowing the next — and long June days stretch far past suppertime. Westy's Best Home Improvement, a home-improvement business by name, does lawn care for homes in Clayton. A July Saturday might start with dew on the grass and a meadowlark singing from a fence post, and finish with the yard cut short and even, the edges trimmed along the drive. There is a quiet joy in seeing a house framed by a freshly kept lawn, as if the whole property were sitting up a little straighter. In a place this size, that kind of attention shows from the road and gets appreciated by everyone who drives past.
