About K&G Prentice L.L.C.

Out where Chisago City thins into farm country toward Stacy and Shafer, the driveways run long — gravel lanes off township roads, wide open to a February wind that rebuilds its drifts an hour after you clear them. K&G Prentice works that country: plowing the long lanes so trucks can get out and feed can get in, then mowing the big rural yards once the ground thaws. It is unhurried, thorough work, sized to properties that do not end at a lot line. A cleared lane at first light, a wide lawn cut clean by supper — that is a day well spent out here. The land is big; the care is bigger.
