About Precision Excavating and Outdoors

Cass Lake keeps a curiosity at its center: Star Island, which holds a lake of its own, while the young Mississippi passes through the big water not far from its source. The town on its shore, home to the Leech Lake Band's headquarters, knows long winters well, and Precision Excavating and Outdoors meets them with snow removal. The name speaks of straight lines, and a cleared drive here shows them — sharp edges, a level surface, no lumps left to trip over. When ice-fishing season settles on the lake and pickups head out toward the shanties, a driveway opened early lets the day begin on time. It is northern work for a town that measures its snowfall in feet.
