About Groom & Bloom LLC

Evening in Carver settles over brick storefronts and the levee, and the Minnesota River goes the color of the sky. Groom & Bloom LLC tends lawns in the old river town and out along the roads that climb away from the valley, mowing and trimming through the long humid stretch of summer. The cottonwoods drop their snow in June; the real kind comes later, and then the same trucks are out plowing drives and cutting paths to the door. There is satisfaction in the turn from one to the other — the season changes, the streets still get opened. A yard clipped even, a walk shoveled to the concrete: small things, and they hold up.
