About Grover Tree Experts Inc

Carlton wakes in April to the St. Louis River shoving ice through the tilted rock below Jay Cooke, and the big pines dripping all night long. Grover Tree Experts Inc works the steep, rooty ground around here, handling removal on lots where a white pine has gotten taller than the house beneath it and trimming back over the cabins and garages on the Munger Trail side of town. A hard blow off Lake Superior can lay a whole crown across a yard, and cleanup starts with the driveway so people can get out in the morning. Pruning gets done in the dry weeks, deliberately, because a pine only forgives so much. At the end of a day the truck smells like balsam and the yard looks like a yard again.
