About Farmward Cooperative Agronomy Center | Canby

A working yard in Canby does not get to close for weather; grain moves, trucks come, and the gate has to be passable at six in the morning in February. Farmward Cooperative Agronomy Center clears exactly that kind of ground, with wide lots plowed and snow stacked out of the traffic lanes, approaches opened for equipment, and walks shoveled and sanded where boots come and go all day. Drifts get cut back before they harden, and paths get reopened after a night of wind rearranges things. Under a low prairie sky the elevator lays a long blue shadow across fresh-plowed pavement, and the day runs on time. That is what the plowing is for.
