About Monarch Landscaping

Every late August the monarchs begin drifting south through the Minnesota River valley, orange wings tipping over Burnsville's backyards on their long trip toward Mexico. Monarch Landscaping shares their name and keeps to the ground beneath them, doing lawn care across the city. The work is patient and close-up: mowing to a steady, even height, then trimming along beds and fence lines until nothing shaggy is left. A lawn looked after that way holds its color deep into September, when afternoons shorten and the light slants low across Crystal Lake. It is a fine thing to look out over a finished yard while the butterflies sail past overhead.
