The St. Louis River runs past Brookston through a channel that glacial meltwater carved down into a ledge of stone, right across from the mouth of the Artichoke River. Up here in the north woods the growing season arrives late and leaves early, which makes every green week count. Vince's Lawn and Landscape makes the most of them.
