Brinkley Lawn Service

About Brinkley Lawn Service

Along Brooklyn Park's eastern edge, West River Road follows the Mississippi, and on cold mornings the fog lifts off the water and hangs in the cottonwoods. Brinkley Lawn Service works both halves of the year on these streets — mowing yards while barges of summer light drift down the river, plowing driveways while the current runs dark between ice shelves. There is a satisfaction in leaving a lawn squared away before the heat of the day, and another kind entirely in a driveway scraped clean while the neighborhood still sleeps. The river keeps its own schedule; so does this crew. Season by season, the work gets done and the street looks better for it.
