Whits End Tree Care

About Whits End Tree Care

After Labor Day the Whitefish Chain empties out, the water goes glassy, and Crosslake gets quiet enough to hear the pines again. That is the stretch Whits End Tree Care likes best: pruning the red pines that lean over cabin roofs, trimming back the shore side so the dock finally gets light, removing anything that will not make it through a winter standing above a bunkhouse. Wet snow and lake wind together will snap a limb clean off, and cleanup afterward means opening the lane in from the county road before anybody's guests arrive. Every cut on this chain has to account for the view, since the view is why the place was built at all. A lot can open up to the water without ever looking thinned.
