About Mike's Tree Company, LLC

Brainerd grows under a canopy — birch and oak shading the old neighborhoods, jack pine crowding the sandy ground north of town — and Mike's Tree Company, LLC works where that canopy meets the yard. A tree company by name and nature, they carry that same eye down to the ground, keeping lawns healthy in the dappled light the big trees throw. When the wind comes hard across the lakes and the branches load up with ice, they know what this country's weather can do, and in the deep months they turn to snow removal, opening driveways buried by the storms that stack up between Thanksgiving and April. It is work that follows the shape of the land itself: green and growing in the short fierce summer, white and heavy the rest of the year. Their ground is Brainerd and the wooded lake country around it, one yard and one clearing at a time.
