About JLC Turf Services

Get down to grass-blade level on a July morning in Brainerd and the lawn is a silver field — dew on every blade until the sun climbs over the pines and burns it off by eight. JLC Turf Services works at that level of detail. Turf is the trade: mowing at the right height for the heat, keeping lawns across the lakes area thick and even through the growing months. When the last cut is done and the ground locks up, the crew moves to snow removal, plowing and shoveling the same properties until the turf reappears in April, pale and pressed flat and ready to wake. Grass down, snow up, grass again — the whole year measured a few inches off the ground.
