About JA Land Management LLC

On the Range the growing season is short and it knows it — Bovey goes from brown to full green in about two weeks, and the birch along the old mine roads leaf out all at once. JA Land Management LLC works that narrow window hard, mowing, trimming, edging and clearing away everything a north-country yard sheds between June and September. The ground here is iron-colored and stubborn, the water in the Canisteo pit an improbable blue, and the lawns in between get cut on a rhythm that respects both. A clean edge along a gravel drive holds its shape a long while up this way. Bovey and the towns strung along the Range get it done while the light lasts.
