Urban Landworks ( Lawn Mowing Div.)

About Urban Landworks ( Lawn Mowing Div.)

By noon in July, Bloomington's lawns tell you who mowed and who meant it. The Lawn Mowing Division of Urban Landworks exists for one purpose and does not dilute it: grass cut on schedule, at the right height, with lines you could check against a level and edges that hold their shape into the weekend. The route runs all summer through the neighborhoods west of France Avenue and beyond, mowers out in the bright hours while the sprinklers wait for evening. There is a craft in repetition — the same lawn, week after week, kept looking its best through heat and rain alike. Bloomington first, with routes into Edina, Richfield, and Eden Prairie.
