About Sofia's Lawn Care Services

Grass has a history in Blaine — this town once raised turf as a crop, sod farms laid out across the black peat soil — so a lawn here has something to live up to. Sofia's Lawn Care Services tends yards through the long Minnesota summer, when daylight stretches past nine and the mower lines stay visible in the low evening sun. There is real care in the small things: the edge trimmed sharp along a driveway, the clippings cleared from the walk, the corners a rider can't reach finished by hand. On a Saturday in June, while families carry towels down to the beach at Lakeside Commons, the neighborhoods hum quietly with that work. A well-kept yard is a kind of welcome — the first thing a street shows you — and keeping them green and even, week after week, is the whole of the job. Mowing, trimming, and seasonal cleanups for Blaine and the towns nearby.
