About Jesse's Yard Work, Inc

Jesse's Yard Work, Inc is the kind of name you shout across a fence, and the work matches it — close to home, done by hand where hands do it best. Fall is the busy heart of it in Blaine: the ash and maple come down in gusts, and the rakes and bags and tarps go street to street until the lawns are clean for the freeze. Winter shifts the effort to shovels and snowblowers, front walks and steps cleared while the coffee is still hot. Summer, it is the mowing, steady as a metronome. A yard put right, over and over, in a town where the seasons never let the work run out.
