About Lake Center Lawn Care

Out in Big Lake township the soil is sand the Mississippi left lying around, and every lawn is a small negotiation with it. Grass here wants water and shade and gets a bur oak's worth of both, which is why the mowing has to change character between the open yards and the savanna edges. Lake Center Lawn Care handles that rhythm through the Sherburne County summer, cutting high in the July heat so the roots stay cool and the color holds. The payoff is a yard that stays green when the sand plain around it has already gone the color of straw. Spring and fall cleanups take care of the oak leaves, which arrive late and take their sweet time about it.
