Budget Cut Lawns

About Budget Cut Lawns

On the south end of town, where the houses look out over Lake Irving and the evenings fill with the sound of mowers, Budget Cut Lawns runs its rounds. This is end-of-day work as much as anything — yards cut after supper while the light goes long and gold across the water. Mowing is the backbone; trimming, edging, and seasonal cleanup fill it out, so a lawn stays presentable from thaw to freeze. The mowing season here is brief and generous at once, and a regular cut is how a yard keeps up with it. The last pass of the mower, the last gold on the lake — that is the schedule.
