Magnolia Services

About Magnolia Services

March snow in this corner of Scott County comes down heavy and wet, the kind that bends branches and sits on a driveway like poured concrete. Magnolia Services meets it with plow and shovel: drives taken to pavement, walks and steps opened, and the ridge of packed slush at the end of the apron cut back before it can freeze overnight. The climb up out of the valley toward Highway 169 tells you what sort of storm it was before you ever reach the first stop. Wet snow gets harder every hour it is left alone, which is the reason the pass comes early. Then the yard is walkable again and the day goes on as planned.
