About Kokkila Custom Services LLC

On the coldest mornings in Beaver Bay, Lake Superior steams, sea smoke rising off the open water in ghostly columns while the shore sits locked in snow. Kokkila Custom Services LLC clears that snow, opening driveways and walkways along Highway 61 and the side roads that climb away from the lake. Northeast winds can drive Superior's storms hard against this stretch of the North Shore, and what falls here stays cold and deep until spring. A cleared drive in the blue light before sunrise, with the lake breathing mist beyond the spruce, is a fine way to begin a North Shore day. Custom work, shaped to whatever the big lake sends ashore.
