About LEDGEROCK LANDSCAPING AND EXCAVATING LLC

Babbitt grew up as a planned taconite town at the eastern end of the Mesabi Range, and here the bedrock is never far beneath the grass. LEDGEROCK LANDSCAPING AND EXCAVATING LLC works as a landscaping and excavating outfit, caring for lawns across this northwoods town, where topsoil runs thin and summer is short and precious. Green-up here rides on long June days and cool nights, with spruce, fir and birch pressing in at the edges of every yard. A lawn kept green and trimmed on ground like this is a quiet victory over rock and frost, earned pass by pass. When the loons start calling at dusk, the yard out front looks as though it was always meant to be there.
