Meineke Snow Removal

About Meineke Snow Removal

Four in the morning, January, and the wind that crossed a hundred miles of open field is stacking snow against every driveway in Austin. This is Meineke Snow Removal's hour. The plow drops, the banks peel back, and one drive after another is opened before headlights start moving toward the early shift. By the time kids are dragging sleds up Skinners Hill, the routes are done and the town is passable again. Snow country asks for one thing above all — that someone gets up when the storm does — and in Austin and the surrounding towns, that is the whole business, storm after storm, all winter long.
