About Big Bens LLC

By February the lakes around Aurdal are a second neighborhood — pickup tracks running out to the fish houses, chimney smoke standing straight up in the cold. Big Bens LLC works the shore roads and the farmyards, plowing driveways, blowing out turnarounds, clearing walks and steps before the school bus swings past. Snow does not fall politely here; it comes in wet slabs in November and dry powder in January, and each one wants a different pass. Widen the lane in the first storm and there is somewhere to put the rest of the winter. That kind of thinking is what keeps a township moving.
