Hanson's Lawn Care

About Hanson's Lawn Care

Highway 10 runs straight through the middle of Audubon on its way east into the lakes, and this is where the prairie gives up being flat. The ground starts to swell into the Becker County moraine, so a lawn here is rarely one plane; it is a small landscape with a shady north side and a hot crown that browns first in August. Hanson's Lawn Care mows, trims and edges through that terrain, matching the cut height to what each slope can carry. The reward is a yard that follows its own contour cleanly, the mower lines curving with the hill instead of fighting it. Spring and fall cleanups open and close the year, and the whole town smells like fresh grass by the middle of May.
