About Dakota Lawn

This corner of Dakota County was oak savanna once — big burr oaks spaced wide over grass, holding the wind. Dakota Lawn tends the descendants of that ground: the backyards and boulevards of Apple Valley, where those same oaks still throw long shade across summer turf. A June evening here smells like fresh clippings and warm asphalt, and the mowing goes until the fireflies start low over the grass. The craft is in the details you feel more than notice — a straight edge along the walk, trimmed rings around the trees, a lawn that reads calm from the street. Green, kept simply and kept well.
