About Shades of Green Landscaping

When a clipper drops out of the northwest and the snow starts stacking against the lamp posts along Jackson Street, Anoka goes soft and silent — and that is when Shades of Green Landscaping goes to work. Winter here is not an interruption; it is half the calendar, arriving hard and staying long, and somebody has to meet it. The plows run through the worst of it, driveways and walks cleared and cleared again until the storm gives up first. There is a stubborn beauty in that: the town muffled white, and a black ribbon of open pavement at every door they have touched. Come morning, people step out to shoveled walks and simply get on with their day, which is exactly the point.
